If Jordyn could say more, we are sure she'd be telling us "I'm a big girl!" Last week she was out of daycare practically all week with a fever. It was probably a virus as she had cold symptoms. But she also has had all four eye teeth come in significantly in the past week so we are sure that has not helped. A few kids at daycare are being potty trained and Jordyn, not one to feel left out, has begun telling us she "wants to go potty". Its pretty funny because we are pretty sure she is just saying it because she hears it a lot at daycare. The biggest news is that she is ready to go to sleep in her own bed. Our nightly routine has been to get her in our bed with her bottle and cuddle bear where she falls asleep and then we take her to her bed. Lately she has not wanted to go to sleep on our bed and instead needs to be taken to her bed where after about two minutes she falls directly asleep. We can't believe our baby is growing up - and letting us know its time! At least we are listening...
Other than that, Jordyn's vocabulary is increasing daily. When we ask her who she played with at daycare she tells us 'Rana' (Ariana) and Jake-ee (Jake). Pretty darn cute. She repeats some words now like milk. Her new favorite song is the Itsy Bitsy Spider, and she will do the hand motions for the spider and the sun. She will go find her toy that sings it and cycles through its songs until it gets to Itsy Bitsy Spider. She also still enjoys Ring Around the Rosy and even demands we do it with her. She comes up and says "Rody" ("Rosy"). She holds our hands and walks around and then falls down at the end. She also enjoys sitting at the kitchen table on the big chairs. She will pull the chair out and climb up and sit there at the table. So big!
