Bye bye umbilical cord, hello belly button! This morning at Jordyn's 1:15 am changing/feeding, we discovered that her umbilical cord stump has fallen off. We are very excited about this - she can finally have a real bath!
We also went to the doctor again last week and found out she had gained 8 ounces. She is perfect according to the doctor and now we don't go back until Halloween. We are starting (knock on wood) to somewhat get on a schedule and for two nights in a row she has gotten up at 1:15 am and 5:30 am but slept through the night other than that so we are happy with that.
We did get our peanut a Halloween costume so don't forget to check back around Halloween for a pic of her in it!

That's exciting about the umbilical cord! Skylar's fell off at day 4 so we've already given her 3 baths. What an experience that is! It is not her favorite thing to say the least. I'll be interested to see how Jordyn fares. We have a Halloween costume too and it will be fun to see our little ones in them. I'm sure ours will be gigantic on her but I hope we can at least get her in it for a few pictures.
